Meet The Team

Postby Chrono » Sun Jul 09, 2017 1:43 pm

So a while back, we released a comic book about a group of 4th generation teenage super heroes. You, the fans, demanded more. And who are we to deny you. So here is a little bit of history about our fantastic group and what they are like behind the Masks.

Our team does not have a name yet. They just started working together, and not really in an official capacity yet. But they are all unique and compliment each other's powers well. Below is some individual information, presented in the order that we were introduced to our heroes.

You can get the basic rules, moves, and play books from the main website here.

Road Map

Postby Chrono » Sun Jul 09, 2017 1:49 pm

Doctor Van Hook's experiment has gotten loose!

The Bull of our group is named Jack (goes by Road Map), and he has the body of a braille road map! Jack's powers come from the stimulated rage centers of his brain, where the not-so-good doctor jacked around with to make Jack his super weapon.

Despite being created for evil, Jack does not believe it is fair for people to suffer and works hard to keep the innocent from doing so. He is a strong skilled fighter, and he appreciates the team because they do not judge him!

Facepalm

Postby Chrono » Sun Jul 09, 2017 2:00 pm

Can Trevor Moonchild live up to his grandmother's name?

The Legacy in our group is the son of Ray of Hope (still active and considered one of the BEST super heroes today) and the grandson of Flower Child, that beloved beauty that once rid our world of all nuclear terribleness by hurling it into space! Trevor goes by the name Facepalm, and to his judgmental retired grandmother's frustration he continues to live up to that name rather than his legacy. Though his family has moved in with Flower Child since his mother died, Facepalm has been thrust into (and kicked out of) one super hero group after another.

Facepalm hates the suits and ties he has to wear, and the traditional costume with its rigid symbol and cape (but no mask). He has no eye beams or power of flight yet, but his strength and invulnerability (and senses, not sense) still come in handy to assist the team. Hopefully he is able to become a hero with this group, since it really is his last chance to do so.

Black Friday

Postby Chrono » Sun Jul 09, 2017 2:00 pm

Someone really needs to bury that embarrassing YouTube video!

Every group needs a Beacon of hope, and this on is ours! Rebecca White is a super cheerful martial artist that has decided to become a super hero despite her lack of natural-born powers. She can punch and kick and sometimes phase, but it seems like her bubbly unending cheerfulness is the most super thing about her. People have a problem taking her seriously because a bad online video of her went viral, but she is confident that she can overcome this obstacle with some good teamwork and better publicity.

Black Friday is costumed in all black sequins, and she has a flying pig. Seriously: Ragtime Roast Beefy is adorable and loyal. And who knows what the two of them can accomplish together, now that we know some pigs fly!

Cypher

Postby Chrono » Sun Jul 09, 2017 2:15 pm

This is a really long field trip, even for a Helix-ian...

Cypher is a blue neon extraterrestrial Outsider with glowing eyes and a military uniform that is totally not from Star Trek. Cypher is a tough telepathic shapeshifter, making gender a hard thing to identify (Cypher just shrugs when asked questions about such things). The Helix empire sent a class of students on a field trip to study the aboriginals called humans, but Cypher found something fascinating about these people and decided to stay for an extended period rather than go home to finish school.

Taking the name Jem Smith, Cypher wishes to exemlify the human extremes and learn more about these people. This team in particular is extremely interesting, and unbeknownst to Cypher yet there are a few people also interested in him...her...it?

Dot Dot Dot

Seriously? She energy bends that guys power away, and you don't even have a NAME for her?

This nameless grim-costumed teenage female with haunted eyes has no name (see voting details on the last page of the comic book), but she has plenty of power to call upon. As the Doom of the group, ...'s appreciation for the others comes from their appreciation for her gifts and their non-judgmental attitude for her cat ears and her ability to alter people's minds and memories.

Her nemesis' name cannot be spoken out loud, so we call him CAT. And he literally is just a cat that lives with ...'s parents, who have somehow forgotten all about her (including her being deathly allergic to cats) and cater to the cat's every whims.

Cyber Monday

Didn't that medic die in the first comic book?

The Delinquent of the group is the cyborg Cyber Monday.
